Creativity. Is it born or bred?

Have you ever wondered how geniuses like Albert Einstein and Thomas Edison come out with creative ideas?

It has been reported that Albert Einstein imagined the equation E = mc2 while he was relaxing in an open field, gazing at the sky. He then designed experiments to prove that the equation is right. How can this happen?

Here is a startling truth, if no one has ever told you before……

Real creativity actually comes from the superconscious mind, or the Infinite Intelligence, through the subconscious mind.

That is why it was possible for some geniuses, like Albert Einstein, to know the answer before proving it right!

I said real creativity because nowadays, a lot of creative ideas are just mix and match of two or more ideas. I call them synthetic creativity.

There is nothing wrong with synthetic creativity. It’s still creative in nature.

Real creativity comes from the superconscious mind, but synthetic creativity comes from the subconscious.

Why subconscious? Because your subconscious is the storehouse of all your memories, including all the things you have seen or read.

When you post a question to your subconscious, your subconscious will start looking for the answer within itself. If it can’t find the answer, it will seek help from the superconscious mind.

What if the superconscious mind doesn’t have the answer either?

That’s not possible because the superconscious mind has Infinite Intelligence!

(If you are confused by all the super- and sub-conscious terms that I have used here, you may want to read my article Mind Power Explained.)

Whether it’s real or synthetic, all creative ideas must pass the subconscious level before coming to your conscious awareness because the subconscious is the communicator between the superconscious and the conscious mind.

Do you realize that you always have creative ideas when you are bathing or day dreaming? In fact, Thomas Edison has reported that he often got answers from his dreams.

The reason is simple. These are times when the subconscious is awakened.

Technically speaking, these are times when we experience spurts of alpha and theta waves. (If you do not know what I mean by alpha and theta, you may read The Power Of Alpha)

All the great inventors, from ancient times till now, used the power of their subconscious minds to solve problems and come out with creative ideas.

When I told my friend, Annie, about the relationship between the subconscious mind and creativity, she told me that during the time when she was doing her architectural studies in the University, she always worked late on her assignment until she fell asleep. Often, she woke up with the solutions in her mind.

That’s a typical example of how the subconscious mind can help you to solve a problem.

Actually, there is a way to program your dreams to get answers or guidance. If you are interested, I recommend you to read the book Silva Mind Control. Following the book, I have had a few successful experiences.

Back to the title of this article: Creativity. Is it born or bred?

Well, the answer is simple. It is born if you believe that it’s born. It is bred if you believe that it can be bred. Creativity is just another belief of your subconscious mind and your belief creates your reality!
